Alvescot Village Oxfordshire

This is the start of the footpath through Home Farm, farm. The sign is in the hedge on the right of the photo. Taken August 2015

through the gate & into the farm yard you will see on the right a 5 bar gate into a field, go through / over this gate & continue along the edge of the properties. This field is called "Pig Paddock".

this occasion the gate is open into Pig Paddock

Along the edge of Pig Paddock under the trees on the left is a stile to climb over. It is not dog friendly. You will need to be agile as well.

this is the 1st stile to exit Pig Paddock. You go across a bit of a small lane into the gardens of alvescot Lodge. The gate at this time of year is getting over grown with brambles, so your stick is needed to hack your way through.

Up the sloped lawn of part of the new gardens of Alvescot House. They have added hundreds of trees, shrubs & man made lakes. Beautiful. Do please remember it is a home.

this is still a work in progress to the Alvescot House Gardens as you can see. This view is looking back down to the gate & stile into Pig Paddock

This is the top of the gardens, as you see this area is still under construction hence the building site look. The gate at the top is 5 bar however there is a stile onto Mill Lane

Before you exit the gardens if you look to your left you will see another stile which leads across their fields. This is another walk which will get photos of soon.
