1.10.16 St. Peter's Church Harvest preparation & churchyard tidy-up.
10:00 will be having the annual autumn get together. Inside the church will be cleaned & decorated with flowers etc., to prepare the church for harvest festival.
Outside there are lots of jobs in the churchyard & if you have gardening gloves would be useful although not essential to bring them.
2.10.16 Alvescot Village Lunch This a popular get together for villagers & friends - do please join in for a two course lunch. Once again it is by kind invitation to enjoy the pleasant surroundings of Alvescot Lodge. Food is home cooked, delicious & plentiful with a selection of casseroles (including vegetarian), jacket potato & salad with apple pie & cream or ice cram for dessert. Tickets £ 10 ea, (£5 for children 5 - 12 years & under 5 free) available from Jayne (842435) or Tessa (841357) All profits go to the St. Peter's Church Restoration Fund
