2024 Events past

The first Supper Club - Indian Theme took place on 2.2.24. & this was a review from one of the attendees:-

About 24 of us enjoyed the first of Jos Andrew's Supper Club evenings in the Village Hall on Friday February 2nd 2024.

We were greeted by Kez & her friend who along with the happy bar staff, welcomed us. Outside was an impressive BBQ/Smoker which Jos had used to cook the beef element of the curry.

The horseshoe table setup was laid and we sat down to excellent Indian nibbles with our drinks from the pay as you go bar (cash or card accepted).

This was followed by a delicious plate of a Beef and also a Tofu curry with Pilau rice. A huge plateful!

Afterwards we had a lovely Indian themed chocolate cheesecake.

Jos cooked the whole meal really well and joined us at the end.

A fun and very enjoyable meal.

Thank you to Jos and Kez and all the helpers.

The bar and raffle raised funds for the village hall.

I believe that the next Supper Club theme may well be Mexican.
